Thursday July 9th AKA Sam's 28th Birthday and our last FULL day! My dad and Desi stayed home! BOO! Me, my mom, Sam, Alaina and Alexis left SUPER EARLY and headed toward Time Square again for the day! haha Let me tell ya it wasn't as crowded like it was the night before at least not at 8:30AM.
First things first we went to the Good Morning America. It wasn't as exciting! I think we had to be there earlier for them.
Then we headed toward the Today Show and that's where everything was at!!!
This guy right here took us to line up to see Regis, Kathie Lee and Hoda! They went by state to line up and we chose to go with Ohio but we should of gone with the Texas ladies because they got to actually be on TV for more than 2 seconds! Oh well!
We stayed out too late for this girl and woke up way to early!
Literally so close to them!
This was my attempt to take a selfie... HEY at least my arm is in it! Apparently I was about to get hit by a camera so Sam told me to move and then it ruined everything haha
As soon as they were done shooting they were like GET OUT!
We went into the M&M Store and we got M&M's and a cute shirt for our sweet girl!
Then headed toward the Disney store where this girl got to pick out 2 toys! She was so happy!!
We left the Disney Store and we were starving so my mom and Alexis got a New York Hot dog! Sam and I weren't feeling a Hot dog so we waited until we left for uptown.
Then my mom said YES to Mickey Mouse, Minni Mouse, and Elsa and took a pictures with them what she didn't know is that they would beg her for money. If one takes a picture they all come at you like crazy! So, JUST SAY NO!
Then we headed to the upper side of Manhattan and walked by this gorgeous place! We even went inside!
When we got to the Upper side of Manhattan it was like whole different universe there were so many more strollers HIGH END ONES MAY I ADD and it was quiet, so much cleaner. Sam and I ate lunch at this AWESOME PLACE called SHAKE SHACK ...OH MY GOODNESS It was DELICIOUS! The line was OUT the door! It was right across the street from Central Park so after we got our food we sat at a bench.
By this time I was so exhausted I wanted to leave but Sam pushed my limits and I may have thrown a baby fit to go home haha We had been walking for hours and then the night before we were out passed midnight walking around. I WAS TIRED! haha
Then, we headed inside of Central Park where we saw horses, pretty fountains and this awesome bubble making skills. Alaina was so intrigued. The guy wanted to put her in a bubble but she wouldn't let him all she wanted to do was pop them.
We relaxed for a bit and saw a few men dancing and doing flips. Then, we headed toward a pretty fountain.
I may have been happier by the time we got here! And took a picture with my sweet husband! <3
We went back to the loft and relaxed for a few hours.
That night we went up the World Trade Center which was 120 floors up! Spent $60 for both of us to see the beautiful city.
It was a little foggy so we tried to get some good pictures.
They don't turn off the lights completely which I think they should so we won't get glares in our pictures! BOO!
9/11 Memorial <3
By the time we left it was raining or I mean PORING!!
We went home and I changed my shirt because I was wearing white!!
(I wish I could get my phone emojis on here because I'd add that clenched teeth one here) haha
We went back out while it was raining with an umbrella and headed toward Central Station and The Empire State Building! BUT FIRST we made a stop at this AWESOME dessert Waffle place called
Wafels & Dinges!
SO GOOD!!!!
Central Station!
The Empire State Building!
We were exhausted and headed back to the loft earlier than past days because we had to get up and get ready to go back home the next day.
Happy Birthday Sam!
Friday, July 10th we cleaned up our things and packed up the car and started heading out at 10AM except that the USA Women's Soccer Team had won the World Cup the day before and NYC was having a HUGE parade for them right were we were staying and it took us about 2 hours to find our way out of New York haha we should have just stayed parked and gone to the parade.
Police were riding horses and traffic was just backed up for DAYS!
Goodbye NEW YORK!
You were good to us!
We all had so much fun and we wouldn't have been able to go with out my parents they basically paid for everything!
Thanks MOM AND DAD!!
