A trip to Utah!

Sam's sister Kristy was coming back to the U.S. Kristy had been in Russia for 2 years and well it's been awhile since anyone saw her. Actually since last summer but we all missed her so Sam and I were talking about taking a trip to Utah. One of our friends told us that the tickets were pretty cheap at that time but when we took a look on the internet they weren't so cheap at all especially since it was around the 4th of July that we were thinking about heading up! One day, Farrah (Sam's other sister) texted Sam and said that they were planning on going to Utah and wanted to know if we wanted to go with them. We were like HECK YES! It was like perfect!

So, Friday July 1st we headed out to Utah! We left really early and got to Colorado Springs around 4pm. My wonderful sister in law Farrah was very spontaneous and was like do you guys want to go up to a mountain called Pikes Peak! We were like eh at first but since I (the weird one) have never been up at the top of a mountain before so we decided to tag along and go up on the train!

Sam and I at the top of the Mountain! It was about 36 degrees up there but it was totally worth it because it was absolutely beautiful! I was so happy that we decided to go!

After we went down the mountain we had to eat something so we had pizza and headed toward our hotel and relaxed! The next morning we left and headed straight to Utah!!
