Twenty-two months!

Hello all, I have been so bad at blogging lately. A lot has happened this summer and I haven't been able to keep up.

Who crosses their feet when they swing? I think it's the cutest!

Where has the time gone? My not so baby girl has become a independent sweet grown up girl. I can't believe it! She has grown more this past week then ever! I feel like she has grown out of all her clothes and her hair has been a little more crazy than it usually is. I need to clean her room! Anyone want to help?!? I'm seriously taking volunteers because she has a lot of clothes and I am going to go through all these emotions I will quit before I actually get started. Does anyone else feel sad when they put away clothes their babies don't fit in? Or am I weird? haha don't answer that! :)

This face makes me happy!

This girl is a MAJOR jabberbox! She will tell you stories! She is talking like full sentences!!!! I've got to record this girl when she prays like it's literally the most adorable thing EVER! We have been sort of NOT REALLY potty training her. She tells us when she needs to go poopy but she hates getting on the toilet I don't know what I am going to do with her. She's pretty verbal when she needs to use the bathroom but getting her on that toilet is the hard thing. She will also tell you that she went poopy that day when you walk through the door but she really didn't. It's really funny actually. haha Lots of  favorite words include: "barney barney" "callu" "pad pad"(iPad)  "uubles" (bubbles) "shawiing" (swing) "shlide" (slide) "play" "toys" "daddy boom boom" (it's from a book okay) "brush" (which means brush hair or teeth) "ook" (book) "huk" (hug) "wav woo" (love you) "caseat" (car seat)   and she says the cutest "uh huh" when I ask her if she's okay or if she wants something specifically. This morning when our friend Courtney watched her she told that she was coughing and Alaina was like "okay?" Like if she was okay? OMYGOSH! It melts my heart! She is such a character I can't even stand it.

SIZE: She still wears size 4 diapers and I haven't weighed her in a while. She is between 18- 2t in clothes it depends on the clothes. I can sometimes get her in 12 months but sometimes they are too tight. I have put her in a onsie that was 6-12 months. I don't know clothes are crazy! Like I said IT DEPENDS!

LOVE HER!

Sleeping: This girl sleeps through the night still we "I" have been trying to put her bed earlier since it's getting dark at like 7:30ish already which makes me sad! I'm going to miss our long days. She still takes a nap in the afternoon it last about 2 hours sometimes even longer I think today she took a 3 hour long nap even with all the noise Sam was doing today. She is so good to us!

So, we got a new play set like 3 weeks ago and we have had so much fun with it. I finally took out our camera that is having some issues but still takes wonderful pictures today. We have enjoyed this set since the day we got it. Today, Alaina was just such a sweet girl I mean other than her mini tantrum she threw right before nap time she was such a sweetie pie. We went outside this evening and just hung out with our girl especially since we have been working on our home all day long. That's for another post!

I can't believe that she will be two in 2 months! She is such a smart girl and I love every thing about her!

20 Months!

Look at this sweet face! She's so adorable I can't help it! I don't know where to start with her she has grown up so much I can't remember everything! 

Sleep:  Alaina is still sleeping through the night, although we have had a lot of trouble putting her to sleep. She is constantly wanting us to read her books and as much as we have memorized each Dr. Seuss book that we own she doesn't stop asking us to read to her! Good thing we love her right? She practically has The Foot Book memorized it is insane!

Size:  She is in size 4 diapers and is in 18-24 month clothes. Which is perfect! I can sometimes fit her in 2T which is nice because I have a lot of 2T! I MEAN A LOT!

Food:  Welllllll, she eats almost nothing! I mean she does she is just a really picky eater. I wonder where that comes from haha! If you know me I am exactly that "A PICKY EATER" I have started liking things so you can't blame me for everything. It really depends on the day one day she will eat a hot dog the next day she won't. I have heard that it's normal that toddlers are that way... hopefully! 

Milestones: She is a talking machine!! I swear she says everything! I have heard her say full sentences! I know it's insane! The other day she was eating a chocolate chip cookie and I told her to clean her mouth. I literally turn around and she has a wet wipe in her hand cleaning her face. WHAT?! This morning she wakes up and I hear her sneeze and she blesses herself! I hear her say "bless you"! When I "accidentally" burp she excuses me! She still has her grunts and whines but other than that she is a BRILLIANT child! She says "please" of course we have remind her but she says it. When she wants more of something she says "mas" and for milk she screams "leche" I'm finally working on the spanish part. 

I have a wonderful child and I love being her mother!

Spring is here and here to stay...

OR NOT!!....

Just saw on the weather channel app says that it is suppose to sleeeeeeet on Tuesday!! WHAT!?!? Ugh! Well whatever the rest of the week looks seriously wonderful I think I remember it saying it would be like high 60s!

This past week we took every chance to go outside or to the park. We went to the park Monday night, Wednesday morning, and Saturday morning. Seriously!! EVERY CHANCE WE GOT! and plus Alaina loves being outside she literally cries when we bring her back inside... it's like she was born to be outside all day long!


House update:
I don't know what happened but we are for sure going to close on the house on Thursday which means that Friday we will have the keys to our NEW HOME!! I'm seriously so excited! I can't wait to get out of our town home we have grown out of it so quickly it's insane! Since we have the month of April to move in we will be painting and updating our home! Just a little TLC and it will be perfect!

Sam update:
He's going to Ecuador!! What?!?! He called me Tuesday from work and was like do you know where my passport is? I go yea it's in it's usual spot.. why? and he goes I'm going to Ecuador! The first thing I did was SCREAM! What?!? I want to goooooo! Yea right if ONLY!! In my dreams right?! ONE DAY! Well he gets another stamp on his passport where it has a million places already stamped! :)

Alaina process:
She's wonderful! She did a somersault this evening right before bed and we got it on video! LOVE HER! Oh, and she got a new ride and has been riding it ever since she got it! Thanks Sender Family! :)

She loved stepping down and going back on the sidewalk. 

Her teeth are just so cute!!

She got mad that we wouldn't let her walk in the mud even though she was already muddy.

Major Update.

It has been forever since I last blogged. I have been a bit lazy to get on my computer now that I have the iPad Mini. All I ever do on my computer is do the program for church and lot of primary stuff that I have to do on Word. Anyways, I have a lot of stuff to talk about so if I start rambling on then I'm really sorry! :)

Alaina is now 16 months!!!! I know can you believe it?!? I can't she is such a sassy girl! I will make another post about my sweet girl. I have so much to update that she needs her own post! 

Anyways, in January we found the home that we have been waiting for... EEK! So we decided to make an offer. It's a short sale and our Realitor told us it had taken months before the bank responded but wait.... Our realitor called like mid February and was like lets get this going!! Now we are in March and we have to close before or on April 4th! We need to be out of our townhome at the end of this month because I really don't want to pay a months pay when we really won't be here! We are so stressed out!

Alaina update.

Alaina is already 14 months! I seriously can't believe how old she is. She is such a joy in our lives it's insane! She has been very sassy lately and loves to chat with me and acts like she's carrying on a conversation. It's really funny! Anyways, she loves her Beano she has been picking up his rope or his bone that he chews on and waits for him to pay attention to chase her for it. She thinks it's the funniest thing on the planet! I always try to capture it on  video but once I get the camera out and ready she's like Ohh I'm done playing and being cute! It's like she knows what I am doing and stops very frustrating especially since you want to capture these cute moments! Beano finally also has a friend to play with but he doesn't seem to be that interested. So sad! I think it's his old age!

I'm going to start this new milestone thing... I got it off a friends blog and I wish I had started it when Alaina was a baby baby!

Sleep: I hate to brag but I have had a wonderful baby sleeper! She's been sleeping through the night since she was about 7 months old! You heard me right! We sleep trained her! It has be the most wonderful thing ever. I'm hoping for my next baby we have a great sleeper as well! She usually goes to sleep between 7:30-8:00PM and she wakes up at 9:00AM. If she goes to sleep around 7:15PM she will wake up at 7:15AM. It has been a killer when she does that for me because she usually wakes up at 9. For naps She takes a morning nap for about 1 1/2- 2hrs and for her second nap it's usually and 1hr or an 1hr 1/2 it really depends!

Size: The other day we weighed this big belly baby and she weighs about 21 pounds! I seriously can't believe how big she's gotten. She also has this cute little belly going on. She has been in size 3 diapers since like 6 months, but I think she is growing out of them after this batch of diapers that I just bought a week ago is gone we are going straight to 4s! I might even start potty training! She's been very interested in toilets! haha

Food:We have a picky eater on our hands! I mean she isn't that bad but she doesn't like trying new things! She knows where the snacks are in our pantry and she hits the door several times to tell me she wants some snacks! I'm trying really hard to keep her from snacks because is she eats too many snacks she doesn't eat dinner. Let's talk about what she does eat:

I guess she isn't so bad after all! She is such a joy!

Milestones: Alaina is an official runner now! She just runs and runs around the house! I wish we could go outside to the park now that she's walking but it's like -1 degrees here in the great state of OHIO! She says lots of words like shoes, hola, buh bye, six (which sounds like something else haha), up,dabba dabba doo, I can't think of anything else but for other things she just points and grunts!

Other important things:
She has this attitude that sometimes I put her in time out! It's nothing major I just tell her that she is going into time out because of so and so and I set her on the couch! If you saw the attitude that she's giving me you'd be like yea put her in time out! haha She is a major sweetheart when she wants to be like sometimes she grabs her blanket and asks for me to pick her up and she lays on my belly and watches cartoons with me. It's  seriously the sweetest thing and other times when she just wants to do what I am doing and she literally does the same thing that I do!

Alaina is very independent she will strive to accomplish what she wants!Which is a good thing but sometimes I need her to need me haha She's just growing up so fast I can't get over how old she is already.

She is also a MAJOR girly girl!! She loves shoes, necklaces, bracelets, and sunglasses. Oh goodness we are going to have an expensive girl on our hands when she grows up! She also loves music and Barney! Anything with music on she will dance! Seriously the sweetest and cutest thing!

Alaina is 10 Months/ Update

Its been awhile since I updated about Alaina or about us as a family. I suck at blogging I just can't keep up! I plan I doing that today! Blogging until Alaina wakes up from her 2 1/2 hr nap! Yes you read right! two hours is perfect I should be blogging all the time but I usually have chores to do like dishes, laundry, clean the living room and our bedroom. The joy of being a stay at home mom it never really stops! Oh and I just got this fabulous new calling at my church as the Primary Secretary so I am making some cute stuff for that! I am not complaining I am seriously grateful that I can stay home with my baby and make dinner for my husband!

I have some great news as well! Sam got a new position at Sherwin Williams. He used to be a Financial Processor NOW he is a Business Analyst! He is very happy about that! Maybe that's why I haven't blogged in a month or so because we both have been stressed about interviews and waiting to see if Sam got new job or not!

We have officially started looking for a new home like a place that we OWN! I know I am way excited! Next week we will be talking to bank! We will also be buying our plane tickets to Utah for Thanksgiving! We are so grateful for a new job, Alaina, a place to live, and wonderful people to call friends!

Have I mentioned how I am so GRATEFUL for our friends here in OHIO!?!  I am also grateful to have some really great friends! Its been awhile since I have made some friends and I am glad that we can have girl nights! I definitely need more girl nights!

I have started working out! I started doing INSANITY with my friend Kjersti! I am DYING! It's been a week and I feel really good about it I am going to finish this CRAZY workout! I am trying to loose 10LBS. I really want to be thin before we have another baby and plus I'd fit better in my clothes! (:

ENOUGH ABOUT ME...

BACK TO ALAINA!!

When I took Alaina to her 9 month check up! She was perfectly perfect! Except that she lost weight from her 6 month check up! I know CRAZY!! I had a feeling that she hadn't gained weight or gained weight at all. I was NOT expecting weight loss! She lost less than a pound! The doctor wasn't concerned so I wasn't either I mean her head circumference and length had grown so it wasn't a problem!
The next few weeks we started giving her formula I haven't been producing enough milk for her to breastfeed as much as she had so the other option was formula. I never was against it we just preferred free milk! (: Formula IS EXPENSIVE!! Good thing Sam has some great girl friends at work that have babies and give him coupons or free formula! Thankful!

 10 months already?!?! 
Before we know it she will be a year old! I have started looking at some birthday stuff but we just might keep it simple!  
Last week we got a walker for Alaina and she has started walking a lot. She has also been standing up a lot without holding on to anything. I know! I always get so excited when she does it and I try not to scream because last time I did it she fell and started crying! I am sorry I just get excited for new milestones that she goes through! haha

Anyways, she doesn't want to eat grown up food she has turned into a very picky eater. I really hope she grows out of it because I can't just keep feeding her graham crackers, vanilla waffers, and ritz crackers of course I feed her rice cereal, oatmeal and other baby food! She just doesn't want to grow out of that stuff!

She is talking like crazy these days and I absolutely love it so much! Her smile makes my day. She does this thing when she smiles and puts her head back and closes her eyes CUTEST THING EVER!! I have it on video! She LOVES to share her food with anyone especially Beano and he loves it! She also likes feeding Beano his food. She definitely has a good personality there that is showing and showing everyday.

I am so happy to be her mother. I just love spending every day with her. Okay enough talking I will post some pictures!

She climbed under there and couldn't figure out how to get out! It took her a while but she did it!
