Pumpkin Patch 2014

So last month we chose a BEAUTIFUL day to go to the pumpkin patch and I can't get over how beautiful it was because it was just so nice. I mean it's fall here and honestly before that weekend happened I thought we are ready for the colder weather to stay and to my surprise I was so THRILLED that we had a 60ish weather that day. 

I had a photography session that was suppose to be at 9:30AM due to some difficulties ;) I didn't get to take pictures until 11:30ishAM. Anyways, we went to Wendy's and then headed straight to the pumpkin patch! Alaina went straight  for the HUGE slide that leads to a huge pile of corn!

Then we got on a hayride to the actual pumpkin patch! Let me just tell you jeggings and hay don't go very well together! DON'T DO IT! :)

We had so much fun and can't wait until next year to go again! It's a tradition now and I love it!

4th of July 2014

This year for the 4th of July it was kind of those chill back and relax days. Sam had the day off we didn't wake up until 9:30AM and it was wonderful. Alaina is pretty good at sleeping in. Anyways, the morning of the 4th we went to the parade at 11:00AM. We met up with friends and enjoyed the parade.  It was pretty awesome we got a lot of candy well when I say "we" I mean me haha. Alaina eventually caught on that people were throwing candy and decided to get her own candy. She's cute!

That early evening we had decided to invite people over for hot dogs and hamburgers!

Tony took off his boots... (the guy above that is about to throw the basketball) ^^ and Alaina and David were very interested in them. David even tried them on and was like "These are my boots" with a very cute southern accent. 

That night we left our house and met up with our friends the Senders, they invited us back to their old neighborhood where they do fireworks on the golf course. Sam took pictures on his phone so I'll have to update later on that. We were so close it was so loud that Alaina got scared after a while. She stopped watching and laid on my shoulders for the rest of the show. 

It was fun we are very grateful for the people that have become our friends so that we can get together and enjoy each others company on holidays like these!

Halloween!

Today, Alaina and I didn't do much today. Our plan was when Sam got home we were going to get all dressed up to get our $3 burrito from Chipotle but one of our friends that was already there told us that the line was super long like out the door long! Earlier that day I read one of my emails from Sonic and they were having 50 cent corn dogs so we got a few of those! I would've loved Chipotle but waiting in line in the rain would not be fun!

I had Alaina dressed by the time Sam got home and I took a few pictures. They are not the best because well our home was dark and Ohio doesn't think that they should have a lights in the middle of the room! Oh and we don't have a flash to our camera! LAME!

Yesterday, was our ward Halloween party and it was seriously a BLAST! The Primary was in charge of it and let me tell you all the stress and craziness was all well worth it! We had great food, great costumes, fun booths, Sam did MAGIC, and great trunk or treat candy! 

Sadly we didn't take any pictures together! For sure next year we will go all out and I will make sure we take a family picture! (:

4th of July!

This year we went over to a friends house to celebrate this wonderful holiday! They had a few other families over too. I thought they invited a great group over it was way fun! We also had some great food. The weather was perfect! We all sat outside until it was time to go watch fireworks! Alaina was the center of attention she loved being around everyone and I was actually surprised that she didn't have a melt down, usually she's super grumpy around 7-7:30 and that's around the time we put her down for bed. Anyways, here are just a few pictures of my baby!

Happy 4th of July!

Memorial Day weekend!

Memorial Day weekend we took a road trip to Virginia to visit Sam's sister Kristy and her sweet family!! Friday night we hit the road Jack! It takes 6 wonderful hours to get there and they are the closest family that we have over here on the East Coast! Alaina was wonderful because it was around her bed time so she slept the whole time!

We arrived at midnight! We were so tired but so happy to be there. Kristy had made her wonderful chocolate chip cookies! Oh her cookies are so delicious! She gave us the recipe and they didn't taste like hers!! I mean they were good but not as good as hers! Anyways, we went to bed after we brought all of our stuff into our room and ate a few cookies. 

Saturday morning Alaina woke up way early like earlier than usual! She ended up sleeping with us in bed and she was just the cutest! After I fed her breakfast Kristy took her while Sam and I slept for an hour. 

We woke up and Kristy made a yummy late breakfast! Waffles, bacon, and eggs!! Seriously wonderful! 

Later that day we went to the mall. I have been wanting to get some bermuda shorts and Sam wanted to get some sunglasses! We both got what we wanted! (:

I also tried looking for a cute summer hat for Alaina but we just couldn't find one anywhere that would fit!

Kristy got a babysitter for Saturday night! This was the first time I have ever left Alaina with ANYONE!! I was super nervous but I got through it! We all went out to dinner at this wonderful place called Firebirds. I had a super yummy burger and sweet potato fries! I am still craving those fries!! Then we went to the grocery store and got some candy and blasted the music on our way home in the car like we were GANGSTAS!! haha

 Sunday, we went to church and came home to play a LONG game of Skip bo. 

 We grilled hamburgers, chicken, and hot dogs for dinner!  Everything was so good! 

Alaina loved this horse. 

Monday before we left we went to Cafe Rio and had lunch. 

We loved hanging out with family it was so sad to leave everyone.

Mother's Day!

Mother's Day was a wonderful day. Sam woke up with Alaina and took care of her while I slept. He also fed her some oatmeal and made homemade pancakes! I seriously have the BEST husband ever because I didn't do anything. Earlier that week we had ordered new iPhones it was long overdue. We desperately needed new phones we still had the iPhone 3GS yea I know tell me about it! We finally upgraded to the next best thing the iPhone 4 what what?!?! haha So I took that as my mother's day gift I really didn't know what I wanted but I was so happy with my new phone!

Since it was Sunday we got ready for church and left. Easy pezzy! haha It usually takes us an extra 30 minutes to get out the door!

After church we took a 2 hour nap then Sam got up to make dinner! He made Chicken Cordon Bleu and it was delicious!! Again I am so lucky to have my husband!! Did I mention I didn't even change a diaper?!?! It's not that I wouldn't I just was never around to do it.

While daddy was making dinner Alaina and I took pictures on my phone! 

 She was talking so that's why her face looks a little weird. She still is cute though!.

 Sweetest husband EVER!! He even set the table. <3

I sure felt appreciated. Great first Mother's Day!

Valentines Day 2013

The week of Valentines Day our sink had to back up like literally backed up! We didn't get maintenance in until Thursday afternoonish! and he didn't get done until like 3 or 4. Anyways, my plan was to make some delicious dessert because I mean you have to have some sweets right?!? Well that didn't happen but my wonderful husband did come home with a big bouquet of BEAUTIFUL flowers, cow tales, and CHIPTOLE!! Ya he definitely knows how to get into this girls heart! I also dressed Alaina up for V-Day with a pink shirt and some cute white pants with hearts on them. She sure is a sweetheart! (:
